New exhibition at the centre national du costume de scène in Moulins
With its prestigious collections that include some 10,000 costumes and stage decorations, the CNCS serves as a showcase for textile and stage design know-how. Each year it welcomes more than 70,000 visitors.

In 2016, the CNCS will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an exhibition dedicated to the baroque music showing the most beautiful costumes coming from the "Arts Florissants"productions.
The musical ensemble Les Arts Florissants, founded in 1979 by the Franco-American conductor William Christie, is a major player in the rediscovery of Baroque repertory music.
Hightly designed, the exhibition will present more than a hundred of costume, artwork reproductions, photographies, extracts movie, and of course... music !
Moreover, since October 2013, the CNCS opened a new permanent space dedicated to the Nureyev collection. 20 years after the dancer’s death, and thanks to a large donation by the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation, the CNCS has set up a place of memory. Through paintings, prints, furniture, musical instruments, sculptures, clothing, accessories and stage costumes, the new exhibition welcomes visitors to discover the intimacy and work of the Russian dancer.
